Irie is a social entrepreneur who believes that innovation and industry can contribute to a sustainable and regenerative future. She is a pioneer in the psychedelic and cannabis industries and has a deep knowledge of psychoactive substances and their healing properties. Irie founded Rise Wellness, the world’s first micro-dose psilocybin retreat and co-founded Sansero Life Sciences, as well as, GoodCap Pharmaceuticals. She also co-founded A Good Mushroom cafe, The Green Tent and the MAPS Canada (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) Toronto support chapter.
Irie has contributed to drug policy and reform in Canada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica and Cambodia. She is the co-inventor of a novel psilocybin drug combination that targets inflammation disease states through the gut-brain axis; and has extensive experience in patient outreach, consumer strategy and natural health education which successfully bridges community and commerce. She is also a mother, caregiver and an experienced psychedelic facilitator who works to positively contribute to communities in her own backyard and around the world.
